A second teen suicide was broadcasted on Facebook Live in three weeks after a Florida girl Live streamed her death by hanging herself in the bathroom of her Miami foster home, state officials said.

Miami-Dade Police officers responded to the foster home over the weekend and discovered 14-year-old Nakia Venant hanging from the doorframe of the bathroom.

Venant, who live streamed the incident on Facebook Live, used a head scarf as a noose tied to the frame of the door shower to hang herself around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Nakia’s friend saw the broadcast online and alerted police, but by the time they arrived, the seventh-grader had died

Venant, a native from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, attended seventh grade at Young Women’s Preparatory Academy.

A friend of the teen told investigators she called police after she viewed  Venant’s live feed online.

Officers attempted to resuscitate her, but without success. Paramedics then rushed Venant to Jackson North Hospital where she doctors pronounced her dead, The Miami Herald reported.

Katelyn Nicole Davis 12, of Georgia, broadcast her own suicide-by-hanging on Facebook on Dec. 30th

Investigators said the teen’s foster parents were sleeping in their bedroom when the incident occurred.

Officials said the Florida Department of Children and Families and Miami Gardens Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the teen suicide.

Venant is the second young person to broadcast her death in mere weeks following another girl’s suicide in Georgia. Twelve-year-old Katelyn Nicole Davis, who also live streamed her suicide on Facebook,  hung herself from a tree back on Dec. 30th.

Georgia authorities said they are investigating sexual abuse allegations involving a relative made by Davis before she took her own life.
