A rapper from South Florida, who is known by the nickname “Stitches,” faces charges after police discovered a gun and a jar of marijuana in his vehicle after he was pulled over for parking in a handicapped spot in Miami Beach.

“Stitches,” whose name is Phillip Katsabanis, was taken into custody Wednesday on charges of carrying a concealed gun, possession of cannabis, and possessing a drug without a prescription, a Miami Beach Police arrest report revealed.

The 21-year-old rapper was booked and was later released.

The arrest report revealed that officers responded to a Whole Foods on Wednesday to a report of a Porsche in a handicap space without a decal.

A cop pulled over the car and asked the driver, Katsabanis, if there were any guns in the car, and he replied no but handed the officer a “rolled up slightly burnt marijuana joint” and stated “sorry officer.”

When the officers inspected the vehicle, they noticed a Glock handgun under the driver’s seat and a clear mason jar full of weed, NBC Miami reported.

Katsabanis said he had been frightened by the cops and thought they had asked if he had a firearm on his person and stated that he always keeps a gun in his car for protection. He reportedly apologized for denying that he had a firearm.

The rapper was taken into custody and the gun, along with two magazines, one with 15 bullets and the other with 31, were seized. During his arrest officers also recovered an oxycodone pill in his pocket without a valid prescription, the report said.

Stitches is recognized by his unique facial tattoos and his 2014 song “Brick in Yo Face.”
