NBA superstar Derek Fisher has become the victim of a home intrusion, with the thieves allegedly walking away with $300,000 worth of jewelry, including his five championship rings that he won with the LA Lakers.

The ex-point guard and one-time coach of the New York Knicks called the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday morning to report a theft at his home in Tarzana.

Sources with law enforcement told TMZ Sports that Fisher told police he left his house at around 7:30 am, and when he came back three hours later, he discovered the place to have been robbed of his most prized possessions.

Authorities believe the thief broke into Fisher’s residence through a side door.

Derek Fisher was a part of the 2000-01 Lakers championship team.

The criminal was said to have raided the former NBA star’s jewelry collection, worth over $300,000, which include Fisher’s five championship rings that he earned in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010 during his term with the Lakers.

No arrests have been made as of Tuesday, and Fisher has not commented publicly on the incident.

During his legendary career with the NBA, Derek Fisher played 18 seasons with the Lakers, Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Dallas Mavericks.

He retired from the NBA in 2014 and was then hired to serve as head coach of the Knicks in hopes of helping the fortunes of the struggling basketball franchise.

Fisher’s coaching job, however, proved to be short-lived and he was let go in February 2016, finishing his coaching in New York with a 40-96 record.

After leaving the NBA, Fisher joined a local network in LA as a Lakers analyst.

The recently divorced father-of-three made news in late 2015 when he starting dating Gloria Govan, the former wife of his one-time Lakers teammate and current player for the Sacramento Kings Matt Barnes, who was not pleased about the pair’s romance.

Barnes, 35, assaulted Fisher in 2015 and was later suspended for two games and was fined $35,000 by the NBA for his violent behavior.
