Police arrested a 35-year-old Brooklyn man Keon Richmond for the execution-style killing of his ex-girlfriend, who was a New York City corrections officer back in December 2016.

Keon Richmond reportedly fatally shot Alastasia Bryan as she sat in her parked car in Bergen Beach on December 4th, police announced on Thursday.

According to the New York Daily News, Richmond was already behind bars for torching another girlfriend’s vehicle in East New York on October 13th. He was arrested for that incident on December 13th, and he was ordered to remain in custody without bail as cops proceeded to investigate him for the Bryan murder.

Bryan was executed at an intersection in Brooklyn late last year

Shirley Mejia, another ex-girlfriend, was arrested for helping him set the car ablaze.

Bryan, a new corrections officer at Rikers Island Correctional facility in New York City, was killed execution-style while talking on the phone in her vehicle.

Hundreds of correction officers attended her funeral at the First AME Zion Church in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

NYPD officials said Richmond has a long history of previous arrests for offense stemming back to 2002.

He was originally set to be arraigned on Thursday, but the snowstorm forced authorities to postpone the hearing to Friday.
