The mother of a 15-year-old who went missing claims that her daughter is the unidentified teen who was allegedly murdered in Texas by two illegal MS-13 gang members from El Salvador.

Genesis Lizbeth Cornejo went missing on January 19th from Jersey Village, which sits just outside of Houston, but police initially stated that she ran away from home.

On Friday, her mother Rosmeri Cornejo posted on Facebook and said that her daughter had been allegedly abducted and murdered by two MS-13 gang members.

Authorities have not yet verified if the body they discovered shot dead in an isolated area of Houston on February 16th is that of Genesis Cornejo.

They had previously published a facial reconstruction photo of the victim in an attempt to identify her.

Authorities characterized the girl as Hispanic and around five feet tall. They said she had pierced ears and dark, wavy hair.

Many of the information matched Genesis’ description provided in the missing person’s report.

The Cornejo family had just moved to Houston after living in New York, according to ABC 13.

Rosmeri, who only speaks Spanish, said one of her daughter’s friends informed her that she was being held against her will.

The two men accused of killing the teen and kidnapping another appeared in a Houston court on Wednesday.

Two known MS-13 gang members, formerly of El Salvador, Miguel Alvarez-Flores, left, and Diego Hernandez-Rivera appear in court in Houston on Thursday

MS-13 leader Miguel Angel Alvarez-Flores, 22, who also goes by the nickname “Diabolico,” and 18-year-old Diego Alexan Hernandez-Rivera laughed, grinned and waved at news cameras in court.

Prosecutors said the two abducted a 14-year-old girl after she left school around February 2nd, holding her against her will in an apartment as gang members continuously raped her.

After four days, the girl said she was brought to a different apartment where six gang members lived, and Flores had a makeshift Satanic altar.

Police say she was held against her will there for two weeks, given drugs and alcohol to keep her disoriented, and was sexually assaulted by the gang members.

She also said she was forced down while Flores tattooed a giant grim reaper on her body from her knee to her foot.

Police released a facial reconstruction image of the victim (right) in a bid to identify her after her body was found in Houston on February 16

She told detectives that a second girl she only knew as “Genesis” was also was held at the apartment.

Genesis lashed out at their kidnappers by dismantling the Satanic shrine; the first victim told authorities.

Flores sacrificed a cigarette to the shrine, but then said that the shrine required a soul sacrifice.

When the 14-year-old woke up the next day, Genesis was missing.

That girl was discovered shot dead in the head and chest on February 16th, but the remains have not yet been identified.

Police said Rivera had confessed to the killing.

The gang member says that Flores told him “Prepare yourself, it’s your turn.”

The two men then took Genesis from the apartment on the thought that they were meeting a dealer to buy marijuana.

Rivera shot the girl in the head, killing her, and Flores then took the gun and shot the second bullet into her chest.

Rivera and Flores are in custody on $150,000 bond each in Harris County Jail.

Both men have requested a court-appointed lawyer. They are scheduled to appear in court on April 18th.
