An aspiring “Bonnie and Clyde” couple has been charged with murder after bragging in a video posted on Facebook that they shot someone after the killing of a 19-year-old man from Dallas.

On Sunday, Hakeem Leprince Griffin-White, 17, and Ashley Ann Coleman, 27, were both charged with murder in connection with the deadly shooting of Drekeiston Alex. Bail has been established at $500,000 each.

Alex was walking in a parking lot when someone shot at him in the middle of the street just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. He was brought to Baylor University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Police published surveillance video showing the gunman dressed in black and pictures of a red 2007 PT Cruiser, which reportedly belonged to Coleman.

Authorities eventually found the car on Friday through witnesses who provided them with the location of the vehicle.

A video posted on Facebook showed one of them holding a gun while bragging about shooting someone. The video has been deleted.

Coleman and Griffin-White denied that they had any involvement in Alex’s murder, with Coleman contending in a separate Facebook post that she is “far from a murderer.”

She then posted a picture of the couple on Instagram, with her holding a rifle while Griffin-White stood behind her holding a gun.

“I’m his Bonnie he’s my Clyde,” the post stated.

Coleman’s previous record includes pleading guilty to misdemeanor and assault charges in Dallas County.
