A North Carolina judge sentenced Crystal Gambino, convicted of fatally shooting her husband and another couple after she caught them having group sex, to 29 years behind bars.

Authorities say Crystal Gambino found her husband, Giovanni Gambino, in bed with Geoffrey Glen Gilliland and Stephanie Lynn Sanchez in the North Carolina residence that she shared with her husband in February 2016.

Police indicated the woman retrieved a.44 Magnum pistol and a box of shells before murdering all three, according to WYFF.com.

“We believe they were all shot inside the house, in a bedroom, and then one of the victims, the female, was moved outside,” Gaston County Police Captain Curtis Rosselle stated.

Gaston County District Attorney Locke Bell said that Crystal Gambino pulled Sanchez’s body outside to light it on fire, but stopped after realizing she had to pick up her 8-year-old from school.

Authorities indicated that there was no previous history of violence at the Gambinos’ home. Gilliland and Sanchez lived together in Charlotte,

Crystal Gambino was charged with three counts of first-degree murder, but she accepted a plea deal on Monday to charges of involuntary manslaughter in the killing of her husband and second-degree murder in the slayings of Gilliland and Sanchez.

Prosecutors said Giovanni Gambino went to Craigslist to locate a couple to have a threesome with, and even offered to compensate them with cocaine, WSOCTV.com reported.

Eddie Hime, Sanchez’s father, said he wasn’t happy with the plea deal.

“Twenty-nine years for taking that away is not enough,” Hime stated.

Gilliland’s sister, Jennifer Burke, showed photos of her brother and exhibited no sympathy for Gambino.

“I only hope that you suffer every day,” Burke stated, adding that Gambino deserves to experience many “sleepless nights” while she is behind bars.

Gambino’s lawyer contended that the slayings were the culmination of domestic violence, infidelity, and mental health issues. She apologized to families of the victims.

“I hate that this happened. It’s a horrible tragedy, not only to these people but to my family,” Gambino stated. “I can say I’m sorry, but I don’t think they’ll accept it.”

Police were called to the Gambinos’ residence for a welfare check in February 2016. All three victims were discovered naked with gunshot wounds.
