On Monday night, two suspects were arrested n New Jersey for their roles in the execution-style murders of two friends whose scorched bodies were discovered inside of a burning Audi last week, which was owned by Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim DePaola.

Clarence Williams, 26, and Gerry Thomas, 28, were arrested in Paterson at approximately 11 pm and were charged with conspiracy, felony murder, arson, robbery, and possessing a firearm for unlawful reasons.

Earlier in the day, Passaic County Prosecutors identified the victims as 27-year-old Aaron Anderson and 25-year-old Antonio Vega Jr.

The charred corpses of the two victims were found on Friday by firefighters responding to reports of a burning vehicle.

The car belonged to former Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kim DePaola and was typically driven by her son, Christopher Camiscioli.

According to the New York Daily News, DePaola’s son was in California when the murders occurred after his friend Aaron Anderson dropped him off at the airport in the same car on Thursday night.

Anderson’s mother, Michelle Ryerson, said her son was keeping the vehicle until Camiscioli came back to NJ, but DePaola said that he was supposed to park it and not drive it.

There is still no conclusive word on a motive for the slayings, but authorities are investigating whether it was drug-related.

Ryerson, however, said investigators told her that Aaron, who was a friend of suspect Clarence Williams, was shot in the head and lit on fire along with Antonio Vega during a robbery.

Before the arrests were carried out, Ryerson considered another potential motive: revenge, the Dail Mail reported.

She said Aaron was accused of informing on a criminal who had been caught for attempted murder.

However, she refused the allegation that her son, a petty criminal, had provided authorities with information.

“It is revenge, and it’s just jealousy. My son was loved by everybody, his friends loved him,” she stated.

Antonio ‘Tone’ Vega was Anderson’s best friend from high school. Ryerson referred to him as a “humble guy.”

The two victims were shot in the head Friday night and were burned beyond recognition inside DePaola’s vehicle. First responders had to chop the roof off the car to recover the bodies from inside.

According to sources, the bodies gender and race could not immediately be identified because of the severity of the burns.
