DALLAS — A Dallas salon worker convicted for a fatal illegal butt injection was handed a 60-year prison term on Wednesday.

Denise “Wee Wee” Ross was found guilty on Tuesday by a Dallas jury for the murder of 34-year-old Wykesha Reid after injecting the victim’s buttocks with industrial-grade silicone back in February 2015.

Reid died a day after receiving the fatal butt injection.

On Wednesday, a judge sentenced the 45-year-old cosmetician to 60 years in prison.

The jury also found Ross guilty practicing medicine without a license.

During the trial, prosecutors said Ross injected the silicone into the buttocks of Wykesha Reid’  to give her what the salon called the “Wee Wee Booty.”

A medical examiner testified that an autopsy conducted on the victim revealed the silicone had traveled through the woman’s body and circulated into woman’s lungs, causing her restrictive breathing, which later led to a pulmonary embolism.

Family and friends of Ross wept and yelled as the Judge sentenced Ross, prompting bailiffs to escort them out of the courtroom

The punishment handed down by the judge was more than what prosecutors requested, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Ross was also fined $10,000 and will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
