A 23-year-old Ohio woman has been taken into custody and was charged with rape and aggravated robbery after targeting her male cab driver.

Brittany Carter was charged earlier this month with two first-degree felony counts in connection with an incident that occurred in late January.

Carter’s alleged associate, 23-year-old Cory Jackson, has been charged with aggravated robbery and complicity to commit rape but remains on the lam.

The Findlay Police Department revealed that just before 4:30 am on January 28th, Carter and two “black males,” one of them who was Cory Jackson, contacted the Trinity Express Cab Service asking to pick them up from a hotel.

Police said the 23-year-old woman ‘purposefully compelled’ the taxi driver to engage in a sexual act under duress.

During the ride, authorities said Jackson whipped out a knife on the 29-year-old driver, and Carter performed an unknown sexual act on him the Smoking Gun reported.

Before the suspects escaped on foot, Carter and Jackson took $32 from the victim’s pocket.

The driver reported the incident to police and arrest warrants were issued for Carter and Jackson. Their third accomplice has not been identified, and Hancock County Prosecutor Phil Riegle said he does not expect to charge that individual.

Brittany Carter (left), 23, and Cory Jackson (right), 20, have been charged in an assault on an Ohio cabbie, in which the woman allegedly raped the man while Jackson was holding him at a knifepoint

Brittany Carter’s indictment indicates that the woman “purposefully compelled” the driver to engage in a sexual act “by force or threat of force.”

Records show that Carter was indicted two times in 2016 on felony possession of heroin and allowing a car to be used in heroin trafficking.

The woman remains at the Hancock County Jail on $60,000 bond.

Cory Jackson is being sought on charges related to the January incident, as well as on a murder warrant out of Lima.
