Ohio Police say nine people were reportedly wounded after gunfire erupted at a Columbus after-hours club early Sunday morning.

According to NBC4, gunshots rang out a little after 3 a.m. at J&R Party Hall in Columbus.

Although Two people remain in critical condition, all of the victims are expected to survive.

Police officials said a shootout erupted after an argument ensued inside the after-hours establishment.

Authorities believe multiple shooters were involved in the incident. Officers who arrived on the scene heard the sound of gunfire coming from inside the club.

The shooting at the after-hour club erupted just after 3:30 am

The victims include five women and four males ranging in ages from 20 to 33-years-old.

Police have yet to discern how many shots were fired.

So far no arrests have been made, and investigators have yet to obtain a description of the shooting suspects.

Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward. “At this point in the investigation, there is no information available on the suspect(s), this happens too often,” frustrated police officials said of the lack of cooperation. “We need people to come forward.”

The mass shooting incident is the second to have occurred in the past month in Ohio.

Two people were killed, and 15 others were injured in another early Sunday morning shooting that erupted on March 26th inside the Cameo nightclub in Cincinnati.

In that incident, police said an argument had quickly escalated into a shootout. A suspect has since pleaded not guilty to a litany of charges including murder.
