A string of leaked crime scene photos illustrated a graphic depiction of the death of the Gulf Cartel boss known as “El Toro” or “Comandante Toro.”

Juan Manuel “Comandante Toro” Loaiza Salinas was killed on Saturday morning during a violent clash with Mexican Naval Marines in Tamaulipas.

Authorities had been pursuing Toro for months, but the elusive cartel leader had managed to evade capture.

Toro’s associates tried to set up roadblocks and diversions but failed.

The images reveal Toro was shot multiple times including one gunshot took part of his face off.

After the shootout, his associates torched cars and businesses apparently lashing out at the capo’s death.

The images of the slain cartel boss first surfaced on social media networks

For several hours, citizen reporters and residents of Reynosa reported multiple blockades and vehicles on fire to warn each other about possible carjackings and other bouts of violence, Breitbart Texas reported.

Military sources also verified the death of Francisco “Pancho” Carreon Ornelas,” a principal Zeta boss who was killed on a highway near Ciudad Victoria.

Mexican law enforcement officials said security forces attempted to take Carreon Ornelas alive.

However, he was killed attempting to flee from police.
