The jailhouse lover of the late Aaron Hernandez is a convicted burglar who received a $50,000 watch from the former NFL star before he ended his life.

Kyle Kennedy, 22, was the last person to see the former New England Patriots player alive last week, according to the Daily Mail.

Kennedy has since been placed on suicide watch at the maximum-security Souza-Baranowski Corrections Center.

Before he tied bedsheets together to hang himself, the disgraced former football star left behind three notes: one to Kennedy; one to his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez; and the last to their 4-year-old daughter, Avielle.

Court records indicate Kennedy was arrested two years ago for robbing a gas station of $189 while wearing a ski mask and holding a butcher’s knife.

Kennedy was apprehended after leading police officers on a high-speed pursuit and running out of gas.

As one of the cops was looking down to dial a phone number for Kennedy, he fled again, and officers had to chase him by foot through nearby backyards.

Kennedy was arrested in January 2015 for an early morning robbery at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Northbridge, Massachusetts. He was wearing a black mask and carrying ‘a long butcher-style knife,’

Kennedy may be released as soon as March 1st of 2018, according to his page on the pen pal website WriteAPrisoner.com

Lawrence Army, a family attorney for the convict said he was visiting Kennedy on Monday “to see what’s going on.”

Hernandez’s suicide – the same day his former teammates celebrated their Super Bowl victory at the White House – shocked his loved ones, who maintained that he couldn’t have killed himself.

Aaron Hernandez was serving a life sentence for the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd back in 2013.

According to Newsweek, police are investigating whether Lloyd’s killing might be connected to his knowledge of Hernandez’s secret bisexuality – and long-time affair with a male friend from his high school days.
