Arkansas native Kellie Lenkerd was arrested after she fired a warning shot at a teen who she believed raped her neighbor’s dog.

Lenkerd called the Centerton Police to inform authorities of the purported bestiality. However, cops arrested her, and she was charged with aggravated assault.

The woman alleged that the boy, who has not been identified, was in her neighbor’s yard wearing only his boxers and a t-shirt while bothering the dog, the Daily Mail reported.

Detective Jeremiah Nicholson of Centerton Police Department said on April 17th; police received calls that a “juvenile male sexually assaulted a dog.”

Lenkerd was held on $5,000 bond for shooting teen accused of raping her neighbor’s dog

In a statement to police, Kellie Lenkerd told authorities: “I heard my dog Linus barking like crazy. I looked out and saw N with his boxers and the dog he raped last time. I got my gun out and went out my back door. I told him to get on the f****** ground and pointed it at him.”

Lenkerd added: “He asked me if the gun was real and I said: “what the f*** do you think? He headed to the fence, and he jumped the fence. He started to run, and I pointed the gun to the ground and fired to scare him. He kept running and said “you crazy b****.” I took my gun inside and called 911. I saw he left his clothes and iPad with headphones. I grabbed the iPad in case he came back. I needed evidence if it was him.”

Neighbors described hearing a loud “pop,” according to court documents.

Above is an excerpt of Lenkerd’s statement she had made to Police following the incident

Patricia Peterson, the dog’s owner, said: “I was sitting next to window working. I heard what sounded like a firecracker against a door. I looked up and saw NM running behind my pick-up. NM is a friend of my 14-year-old twins.”

According to records held by Benton County Court, NM and his mother provided a statement to investigators.

The teenager has been charged with bestiality and criminal trespassing.

Lenkerd, 40, was charged with aggravated assault, which is considered as a Class D Felony. According to court records, she was released on $5,000 bail.
