Sean Waltman, better known as X-Pac throughout his pro wrestling career, had drug charges dropped that were related to a recent airport arrest.

Sam Roberts of Sirius XM reported on Thursday night that the district attorney dropped the case. According to TMZ Sports, tests on the drugs discovered during the search came back negative and sources said Friday: “the case is over.”

Earlier this month, Waltman was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after authorities indicated that he tried to bring meth and marijuana on a flight to England. It was also determined that he had an outstanding warrant for a previous DUI arrest.

The 44-year-old wrestler—who worked with WWE, WCW, and TNA during a career that has lasted almost three decades—spoke to TMZ about what he referred to as a misunderstanding.

“With my past, I can understand anybody rolling their eyes at my story,” Waltman stated. “Once the lab work comes back, this should be cleared up. But in the meantime, oh what a mess.”

Sean Waltman then acknowledged that he had problems with meth in the past, but he’s changed his lifestyle and is living clean.

“I was one of the worst meth-heads ever,” he added. “If I was doing that, there is no way I could have the life that I have now. My life is amazing; this is just a hiccup on the road. I’m clean, besides the cannabis. I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs. My diet is probably better than anybody’s.”

Waltman, who was part of the famed D-Generation X stable as and a member of The Kliq, was a four-time Tag Team Champion and two-time European champion during his reign.
