A man filed a police report against former NFL coaches Rob and Rex Ryan following an altercation at a Nashville bar over the weekend.

According to TMZ Sports, a man at the center of the complaint, identified as Matthew Havel filed a simple assault report in connection an altercation at Margaritaville bar in Nashville last weekend.

A video of the incident was shared by Cooper Stefaniak on Twitter.

Havel explained what transpired leading up to the incident to Bleacher Report’s Joon Lee.

“We didn’t say anything like, ‘You guys are bad coaches, We were sitting there for an hour, hour-and-a-half, talking, and then it wasn’t with them, it was with the son and the nephew,” Havel said.

However, a source told Lee that Rex Ryan became irritated because of “heckling from the uninvited guests.”

Rex was the former head coach of Buffalo Bills’ head coach, with Rob, as his assistant defensive coach.

The Bills fired the Ryan brothers after going 7-8 last season.

Rex Ryan now works as an NFL analyst.
