Rapper Juvenile was arrested on Saturday in New Orleans after a judge learned that he owes $150,000 in child support to the mother of his teen son, according to local media reports.

The “Back that Azz Up” artist was ordered to spend 30 days behind bars or pay the child support debt, according to the New Orleans Advocate.

Court officials said the amount in question comes from payments that were due by Juvenile to the mother of his child, Dionne Williams, between 2012 and 2013.

A court ruling at the time revealed that Juvenile — whose name is Terius Gray — owed his ex $170,000 in child support payment and only paid $20,000 of it back in April.

The 41-year-old rap artist is accused failing to pay child support totaling $71,000 between 2013 and last month, court documents revealed.

The Advocate also reported that police in Louisiana commonly jail defendants who have the economic means to pay the support to force them to comply with making the payments.

Juvenile was taken into custody hours after he had finished performing at a concert at Southport Hall in Louisiana.
