A Texas woman who concealed a loaded handgun up her birth canal after she was picked up on a drug possession charge was sentenced to probation, avoiding jail time.

A judge handed 33-year-old Ashley Cecilia Castaneda to 10 years on deferred probation for methamphetamine possession and fined her $2,500 earlier this week.

Castaneda was arrested in Waco, Texas for drug possession during a traffic stop back in September 2015.

Police officials said cops busted the Waco woman with 29.5 grams of meth and a set of weighing scales in her purse and another 2.7 grams of methamphetamine under her car seat.

The officers arrested Castaneda and with another man identified as 33-year-old Gabriel Garcia.

As police transported the woman to the McLennean County Jail, Castaneda told her arresting officers she was packing a loaded .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun in her vaginal cavity, according to KVIA.

A jail officer later performed a cavity search and discovered the loaded pistol exactly where Castaneda said she had concealed the weapon, according to Police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

Although, Seth Sutton, the attorney for Castaneda called the story “impossible,” Swanton and Waco Police officials confirmed the report as true.
