Alabama police said three people were killed and another wounded after an apparent after-hours armed robbery by two gunmen at a barber shop.

According to Police Chief Mark Thompson, witnesses in the Hook-Up Barber and Style Shop in Prattville identified one of the two assailants, but the other man had his face covered.

Thompson said people in the barber shop allowed the two suspects entry late Monday because they knew one of the suspects, identified as 35-year-old Marty Morgan.

Police are now searching for Morgan and the second suspect. Both are considered armed and dangerous.

Both men are wanted for three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

Three people were gunned down during a robbery at the Hook Up Barbershop in Prattville on Monday.

“He had another male with him dressed in black with some mask on his face and he was armed with a shotgun. They entered the barbershop and shortly after that, shots started being fired by the two suspects,” Thompson told WSFA-TV.

Alabama authorities have offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to Morgan’s whereabouts, AL.com reported.

The names of the victims have not been released. The fourth victim suffered injuries during the fatal armed robbery not believed to be life-threatening, Thompson said.

Morgan has a prior charged for a misdemeanor assault charge in 2012, according to court records.

Local Prattville resident Alvin Weaver, who watched the town’s Fourth of July parade, expressed his shock to the Montgomery Advertiser.

“I told her that she had to be wrong, that it couldn’t be in Prattville. That it must have happened somewhere else, like Montgomery or Birmingham,” Weaver told the local publication.

Weaver said Prattville averages two killings a year.
