A naked man caught on video spraying a police officer in Houston with pesticide before slapping him in the face has been arrested.

Keith Dean, 49, had been seen wandering the streets naked. A Good Samaritan tried to give him a towel to cover himself, but Dean instead demanded the man’s watch before retreating into the Metro Fannin South Transit Center as authorities were dispatched to the scene.

Video recorded by witness Ben Marquina of the June 6th incident shows the train doors opening and Dean shooting pesticide at the officers before he slapped one in the face, and knocked off his sunglasses.

Officers then Taser the naked man twice and then handcuff him while he lies face down on the ground.

Dean had taken a can of pesticide from a train grounds crew earlier that day.

Markay Stroud, Dean’s attorney, contended that Dean wasn’t acting irrationally and had no intention of inflicting harm.

“From the actions and demeanor of Dean to the professionalism shown by the officers who arrested him it is obvious Dean is not acting rationally,” Stroud said to the ABC7.

“I hope that once the evidence is reviewed they will realize that Mr. Dean was not acting with malicious intent,” the lawyer continued.

Dean was charged with two counts of attacking a public servant. He is being held on $5,000 bail at the Harris County Jail.
