A drug bust in Northport, Alabama resulted in the discovery of 41 pounds of marijuana and almost 3 pounds of cocaine.

On Thursday, the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force revealed the arrest of 43-year-old Christopher Williams.

Tuscaloosa police Lieutenant Teena Richardson said Williams’ arrest ended a two-month probe into drug trafficking in Tuscaloosa County.

Agents executed a search warrant on Wednesday at a residence and discovered a haul of drugs and money, AL.com reported.

In total 41 pounds of marijuana worth $260,000, 2.7 pounds of cocaine worth $110,000, and $18,173 in cash were seized. They also seized a handgun, a BMW and a Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Williams has been charged with cocaine and heroin trafficking. He remains in the custody of the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a probation revocation hearing on a previous conviction.
