Rapper A$AP Bari is claiming that a video, leaked online showing him attempting to force a crying nude woman to perform a sexual act against her will inside a London hotel room, is fake.

The explicit video, which surfaced on Instagram on Wednesday, prompted A$AP Bari, whose real name is Jabari Shelton, to issue a response on Twitter, in which he claimed the video was not real.

Shelton later stated the footage was “between friends and the matter had been amicably resolved among all parties as adults.”

A$AP Bari also said he and the woman in the video remain “friends.”

However, an attorney for the woman says the rapper’s statements are far from the truth.

The footage, which was shared on Reddit,  shows the rapper attempting to pull bed covers over a nude woman’s body as the woman tries to get away.

Bari then asks the distressed lady: “What that mouth do b****, you f***** my assistant, now you’re going to suck my d***.”

The female responds: “No, no, stop it, Bari, honestly stop.”

As the woman leaves, Shelton slaps her albeit lightly on her buttocks.

The victim’s attorney told the Daily Mail that London Police could issue a warrant for Shelton’s arrest.

The 25-year-old hip-hop artist tweeted that the video was posted online without his consent or knowledge.

In a statement later made to Billboard, Bari refuted claims made by the woman’s lawyer that London Police was investigating the incident.

“A misleading video clip featuring adult content and activity has been released to the public without my knowledge or consent. Comments about myself or anyone being detained or arrested are false,” Bari said.

The statement continued: “We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults. We were friends before this and will remain friends afterward.”

“Being raised by strong women who taught me to respect everyone, I’m disappointed in the situation as well as myself and will reflect on the situation appropriately,” Bari wrote.

A$AP Bari, a co-founder of the A$AP clothing line, had attended London’s Wireless Festival. It remains unclear what hotel the footage was filmed at.

Bari is a member of the A$AP Mob from Harlem, New York, along with A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ant, and A$AP Nast.
