Authorities in New Jersey released new dash cam video of a 2014 shootout that erupted in Atlantic City, in which officers killed 27-year-old Antoquan T. Watson.

The gunfire broke out after Watson had led cops on a dangerous chase through two counties.

Police had received calls of an armed man brandishing a gun in a restaurant in Pleasantville on March 27th, 2014.

Watson reportedly fled the establishment in an SUV with Pleasantville police in pursuit.

During the chase, Watson fired a shot at officers from his vehicle and also pointed his weapon at cops as he sped by, according to the Courier Post Online.

The chase came to an abrupt end after Watson attempted to run a red light and hit another car.

The 13-minute video, which was posted on the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Facebook page, shows the gun wielding man exiting his SUV and pointing a gun at officers, prompting cops to fire off several shots, eventually dropping Watson.

While on the ground, the suspect was then hit with a barrage of bullets, which killed the man.

Atlantic City Police shot Watson a total of 45 times during the shootout.

Several of the officers said at the time that they had feared Watson was wearing body armor.

In June 2015, a grand jury refused to indict the officers, who were cleared of any wrong doing in the death of Antoquan T. Watson.
