Authorities in Virginia arrested an MS-13 gang member wanted for two murders in the Houston area.

Virginia Police say 20-year-old Douglas Alexander Herrera-Hernandez, known on the street as “Terror” was taken into custody in Arlington, Virginia, located just outside the Washington D.C. area on Saturday.

Law enforcement officials indicated that Herrera-Hernandez, an El Salvadoran national in the U.S. illegally, was placed on the Texas Department of Public Safety list of most wanted fugitives last week.

Herrera-Hernandez faces capital murder charges in connection with the slaying of a 16-year-old at a Fort Bend County Park in Missouri City back on June 13th.

According to ABC13, Investigators believe Hernandez killed the victim because he witnessed several gang-related murders.

Additionally, Herrera-Hernandez also faces additional murder charges for the slaying of 26-year-old Kevin Alvarez, a fellow MS-13 gang member earlier this month outside a Houston apartment complex.

Witnesses told police they witnessed Herrera-Hernandez and Alvarez arguing before the killing occurred.
