Deputies in El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested two fugitives on the El Paso Most Wanted list in two incidents. Both men were attempting to hide from deputies under a stack of clothes.

Ricardo Delarosa, 33, was taken into custody on Wednesday at a residence in South El Paso.

Delarosa, who was named on the Crime Stoppers of El Paso Most Wanted list of fugitives, reportedly hid in a closet under a pile of clothing, The El Paso Times reported.

He was taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intensified family violence with previous convictions.

On Thursday, another suspect on the El Paso most wanted list was arrested on after a weeklong probe by sheriff’s deputies.

On Thursday, Jonathan Hernandez, 24, was arrested at a home in Northeast El Paso.

When deputies tried to carry out a warrant for Hernandez, Crystal Venegas, and Malik Heath, both 24, tried to hide Hernandez under a pile of clothing.

Venegas and Heath also reportedly tried to keep deputies from entering the room by leaving “a large aggressive dog in the same room.”

Hernandez was arrested on two sex offender registration offenses and two counts of avoiding arrest with a vehicle.
