Kansas City rapper C-Los El Gran was sentenced to 168 months behind bars for his participation in a $4 million drug-trafficking conspiracy involving meth.

A federal district court judge sentenced “C-Los El Gran” whose real name is Carlos Sierra to the equivalent of 14 years after he pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute meth, U.S. Attorney Tom Beall revealed.

According to Fox4KC, Sierra confessed to his role in a drug trafficking operation led up by his half-brother (and co-defendant), Edwin Pacheco.

Beall said in a press release the two sold meth in the Kansas City metro area.

The release also outlined the investigation, saying detectives used informants and surveillance to solve the case. They wiretapped Sierra and Pacheco’s conversations, in many of which they discussed the drug trafficking operation and how to make more cash.

Pacheco is currently awaiting sentencing.

Sierra had a firearm on him when he was taken into custody.
