Texas Couple bring baby along on armed robbery

Authorities have charged a young Texas couple, with the armed robbery of a Pizza Hut located on the same block they live on and officials said they brought along a baby with them during the incident.

Officers said the case is associated with another armed robbery case at the restaurant.

Abraham Loftis Acosta was present at Pizza Hut both times when the facility was robbed. The first time, he was with an unknown man and was with his girlfriend the second time around.

The first robbery took place on September 19th.

Investigators said a shotgun with a red bandana tied at the end used. Police said Loftis, a baby in a stroller and another man left the restaurant and went to an apartment across the street.

A little over a week later, Loftis came back to the Pizza Hut with his girlfriend, Ashley Marie Oseguera, KSAT reported.

Authorities said Oseguera had a stroller with a baby inside at the time.

An affidavit indicated Oseguera went into the Pizza Hut with the stroller and asked about specials. Then, Loftis, sporting a mask and armed with a shotgun demanded money and stuffed it into a backpack.

The two then went to a nearby apartment complex, and staff were able to identify them as the perpetrators and provide officers with their apartment number.

When detectives searched the apartment, they said they recovered the backpack and the stroller in plain view.

Both Oseguera and Loftis have been charged with aggravated robbery and were booked into the Bexar County Jail on $75,000 bond.

There has been no indication of the baby’s status, and whether the suspects are the child’s parents.
