A man in North Carolina was busted trying to stash marijuana in the bushes at a courthouse before he was set to appear for a hearing on Monday.

Teon Shamal La’Shane Douglas, 21, was taken into custody after an officer noticed him putting weed and a phone in a bush outside the Lee County Courthouse in Sanford, according to MyFox8.

He was due to appear in court for a probation violation.

“Agents found that Douglas stashed approximately 15 grams of marijuana along with several other items,” Lee County Sherrif Tracy Carter said to WNCN.

He has been charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, along with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession.

His bond was established at $10,000.
