Marion ‘Suge Knight’ has accused his former business partner Dr. Dre of orchestrating a plot have him murdered — paying $20k to have the hit carried out.

In recently filed court documents, Suge Knight alleges in 2016 that he was shown a check written for $20k by Dr. Dre to a purported hitman named Dwayne Johnson.

Knight claims it was a payment to have him killed the day he fatally mowed a man in a restaurant parking lot in Compton, California in 2015.

According to the L.A. Times, the former Deathrow founder added that during a jailhouse visit with a private investigator and Dwayne Johnson, who told them that the $20k was a partial payment for “Dwayne Johnson to participate in my murder.”

Knight said Johnson was in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers on January 29th, the day he rammed Terry Carter and  Cle “Bone” Sloan, with his Ford F150 Raptor killing Carter following a confrontation on the set of the movie “Straight Outta Compton.”

The rap impresario said the check and Johnson’s presence that day proves “he acted in self-defense.”

“This check is critical in defense of my case. This check tends to show that at least one of the individuals present at the scene … had been paid a substantial amount of money to participate in my murder. And that justifies my actions in attempting to flee the scene.” Knight wrote.

Dr. Dre’s attorneys denied ever taking part in the murder plot and referred to Knight’s allegations “absurd and defamatory.”
