Authorities in Michigan have arrested a “significant heroin dealer” in Muskegon who also reportedly had cocaine and meth in his possession.

Miguel Angel Botello-Garcia, 29, has been charged with possessing with the intent to distribute over 1,000 grams of heroin, which carries a potential life sentence; possession with intent to deliver between 50 and 450 grams of cocaine, an offense that carries up to 20 years; and possession of meth. He also has also been charged with felony firearm possession.

“We’re alleging there were firearms that were used in the course of his dealing,” Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat said.

Investigators also seized $144,000 in cash, MLive.com reported.

Botello-Garcia’s crimes took place on September 25th and 26th at his home.

“Given the epidemic of heroin in our community, this represents a significant step in the right direction toward holding drug dealers accountable,” Maat continued.
