Rapper Kodak Black has been charged in South Carolina with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The 20-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a teen girl in a hotel after one of his shows in 2016, according to local ABC affiliate WPDE.

The hip-hop star, whose name is Dieuson Octave, was taken into custody last November on criminal sexual conduct charges.

The assault allegedly took place at a Comfort Inn and Suites in Florence County, South Carolina, and the victim was a supporter who had gone to his show earlier that night.

The Florida-based man brought the teen and a friend back to the hotel, where he told her he “couldn’t help himself,” and forced himself on her before he bit her, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Octave was indicted in April despite news of the charges breaking Monday, according to TMZ. He faces up to 30 years behind bars.

In June, the rapper spent a month in jail in Florida for violating probation stemming from a conviction in 2016.
