Singer Marc Anthony was blindly robbed of $2.5 million by one of his accountants.

Kyle Tessiero secretly stole the significant amount of money from accounts belonging to Marc Anthony over the past eight years without the Grammy-winning singer noticing, according to TMZ.com.

Tessiero began helping himself to Anthony’s fortune just after he was hired in 2007 by a prominent New York accounting firm that has a star-studded clients-list, which includes Drake and Pharrell.

The gossip website reported that Tessiero accumulated the $2.5 million tab on the singer’s American Express card and used his access to Anthony’s bank accounts to pay off the bill.

Authorities busted Tessiero over the summer after an internal audit ultimately exposed the wild spending spree.

The man was taken into custody in August and was charged with felony first-degree grand larceny.

He’s scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
