Singer Melissa Etheridge was caught with drugs after a drug-sniffing K9 signaled to the presence of a substance on her tour bus at the U.S.-Candian border.

According to TMZ, Etheridge was busted for possessing marijuana oil — which she says she used to control pain from cancer and is legal in California, but not in North Dakota where she was taken into custody.

The “Come to My Window” star was smiling in her mugshot after being arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents back in August. She pleaded not guilty, TMZ reported.

Melissa Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and survived a lumpectomy and five rounds of chemo and radiation.

Musician Todd Rundgren was arrested at the same spot in North Dakota for drug possession at a later date.

Customs and Border Patrol discovered two vapes with liquid THC on the singer’s tour bus on September 9th.

He was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
