Parent find Crystal meth in child’s Halloween Candy

Authorities in northeastern Wisconsin are warning parents to inspect their children’s Halloween treats after a parent discovered methamphetamine among a child’s candy.

A parent on the reservation found a small packet of powdered crystal meth among her child’s trick-or-treats candy, Menominee Tribal Police in Keshena, Wisconsin, located about 160 miles north of Milwaukee, said in a statement.

According to WLUK-TV, the parent handed the drug over to police early Monday and officers say it tested positive for meth.

The child had no exposure to the powder and was unharmed.

Police are now urging parents to closely inspect their children’s candy if they have been trick-or-treating in the Keshena area.
