U.S. Marshals have apprehended Another of the men responsible for a substantial multi-state drug enterprise based out of Detroit after a viewer sent a tip into WXYZ.

Devonte Maddox was arrested in Detroit’s on Thursday night.

Maddox’s capture comes months after Robert Lee Brown was arrested after being featured on WXYZ’s Detroit’s Most Wanted segment.

The heads of the extensive drug operation were busted, and dozens more were arrested, but the Marshals were looking for the last three suspects, including Brown, to close the case.

The probe was named Operation Top Gun, which was a nine year DEA investigation that resulted in 34 indictments.

“This organization was sending not only pills but heroin and crack cocaine, from Detroit to West Virginia,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia stated.

Back in June, there was a major sting of the 34 suspects identified in the indictment.

Currently, one suspect, 25-year-old Sean Phillips, remains on the lam and is now at the top of the U.S. Marshals Most Wanted list.
