Reality TV star Melissa Hancock has been charged with being intoxicated and driving the wrong way when she hit and killed a member of the United States Coast Guard from South Jersey last week in Virginia.

Hancock, 25, who was on Lifetime’s “Little Women: Atlanta,” a show about women of short stature, has been charged in the head-on drunk-driving collision that killed 29-year-old Daniel Dill, NJ.com reported.

Dill graduated from Kingsway Regional High School in 2006 and joined the Coast Guard 11 years ago. He served aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bear and was married.

The accident took place on November 4th just after 2:00 a.m. Virginia State Police Officers were dispatched to investigate a two-car crash involving a wrong-way driver in Virginia Beach.

Melissa Hancock was behind the wheel of a Cadillac driving westbound on the I- 264 in the eastbound lanes when she hit Dill’s 2009 Mazda.

Dill was raced to Virginia Beach General Hospital, where he died from his injuries the following day.

Hancock was arrested and charged with DUI/driving the wrong way. She was booked into the Virginia Beach Jail, where she was refused bond.
