A police officer in Rosenberg, Texas discovered 156 pounds of cocaine in a tractor-trailer during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

The officer and his K-9 partner quickly recovered roughly $2.1 million in cocaine after pulled the truck over for a traffic violation.

The cop, who is part of the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force Highway Interdiction Team, discovered the cocaine in the cargo area, the Houston Chronicle reported.

John Garcia

The driver, 39-year-old John Garcia, was driving towards the east coast when he was pulled over.

Garcia has been charged with two felony charges – delivering a controlled substance and illegal use of a criminal instrument.

Garcia is in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail and his bond was set at $55,000.
