A man from Arizona is facing criminal charges in Georgia after officers found more $127,000 worth of cocaine on a flatbed trailer he was towing.

Juan Antonio Ugalde, 41, has been charged with cocaine trafficking and remains in the Coweta County Jail without bail, The Times Herald reported.

The arrest took place on Wednesday when the trailer, being hauled by Ugalde, was pulled over, according to Sergeant. Jay Thompson, who works with the Criminal Interdiction Unit of the Georgia State Patrol.

A trooper pulled over to help Ugalde when it looked like a wheel was separated from his trailer that was carrying a load of aluminum he said was being delivered to southeast Georgia.

After questioning him, troopers grew suspicious and asked for consent to inspect the trailer, to which Ugalde allowed.

Inside a toolbox placed on the flatbed trailer, troopers found a duffel bag with 14 kilos of cocaine.
