Two people in Indiana are accused of smoking meth while waiting in line at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

Stephen Scott Drinkard Jr., 32, and 20-year-old Hannah Nicole Wilson were both charged with meth possession. They were arrested outside the McDonald’s at approximately 4:30 am on Wednesday.

According to WDRB, when authorities arrived at the restaurant, both residents declined to admit that they were smoking meth in the Oldsmobile being driven by Drinkard.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a plastic bag with 3.7 grams of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe with residue of the drug on it, an affidavit indicated.

After being booked into jail, Drinkard reportedly admitted that he purchases meth, which is delivered to Muncie, Indiana from Ohio, on a frequent basis.

Wilson remained in custody on Friday under a $15,000 bond.

Drinkard – who was released after he posted bond – has been convicted of attempted burglary, battery (two times), escape, resisting law enforcement and theft (two times) since 2007.
