Two human heads were found inside of a cooler outside the office of Mexican broadcaster Televisa in the city of Guadalajara.

The identities of the remains are not clear, but the cooler included a threatening message from the ruthless “CJNG,” which are the Spanish initials of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.

An official at the Jalisco state prosecutor’s office said the cooler was abandoned outside of a broadcaster’s office at the station.

However, the media broadcaster believes that the grisly discovery was targeted toward an official, not Televisa.

Elsewhere in the city, police recovered a second cooler with a message threatening a judge, and a bag of alleged human remains with another threat.

In recent years, the CJNG has become one of the most powerful drug cartels in Mexico, and officials blame it for violence that has taken over much of the central and western parts of the country.
