The FBI is offering a reward of $45,000 for information regarding the mystery surrounding the death of U.S. Border Patrol agent Rogelio Martinez in Texas.

A statement released by the FBI on Thursday revealed a new digital billboard campaign to promote the reward for information regarding the death of the Border agent.

Rogelio Martinez was discovered dead, and another agent was wounded in a culvert, about 110 miles outside of El Paso.

FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge Emmerson Buie, Jr., is asking for help from anyone who drove the area between 10 pm and 12 am on November 18th.

President Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott have said the two agents were attacked. However, Culberson County Sheriff Oscar Carrillo said that a passing semitrailer might have inadvertently sideswiped them.

Federal authorities have not revealed many details regarding the circumstances resulting in their injuries.
