In October, former child actor Corey Feldman claimed that he had provided the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office with the names of sexual predators in Hollywood back in 1993 during their probe into Michael Jackson’s molestation charges.

The Sheriff’s Office rejected those allegations, stating they had no documentation of claims made by Corey Feldman, until now.

On Tuesday, Kelly Hoover, who is the public information officer for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News: “Following the inquiries into the Sheriff’s Office interview of Feldman in 1993, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office conducted a review for stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation. In a container which included the original reports from the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office located detective copies of audio made during the investigation. A copy of Feldman’s interview was located. The recording is being turned over to Los Angeles Police. Because this case involves the sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment, and any documentation related to this case is exempt from release.”

A rep for the actor said, “[Feldman] is in possession of the tapes, and justice will be served.”

In an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, the 46-year-old actor said that he “sat down and gave them names. They’re on record. They have this information.”

The “Stand By Me” star has started a campaign to raise $10 million to make a movie about sexual misconduct in the entertainment business.
