Melissa Gorga, of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Andy Cohen are being sued for $30 million by the reality star’s former business partner at her clothing boutique Envy, Jackie Beard Robinson, alleging that the two portrayed her to be a “felon” on television.

Robinson is accusing the duo of defamation and intentionally inflicting emotional distress, according to NJ.com.

Gorga and Robinson first met in 2014 and opened the Montclair, NJ, boutique together in 2015, according to records that Robinson filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. They signed a contract designating Robinson the manager of the shop, Envy by Melissa Gorga, in October 2015, but their business relationship was terminated in December 2016.

In the lawsuit, Robinson alleges that she went to Envy to take her belongings in “daylight” on January 1, 2017 — after she said that Gorga was “misappropriating $37,000 from Envy without authorization.”

However, she added that Gorga falsely insisted on the show that Robinson “snuck in the middle of the night and stole clothing.”

The accusations were echoed on “Watch What Happens Live” when Cohen asked Gorga: “Wow, that lady wound up ripping you off? ” per the suit. Gorga replied, “Yes.”

Robinson contended that the comments made her seem like a felon, which damaged her business as “an entrepreneur and international influencer.” She also called herself “a blogger and style consultant.”

NBCUniversal and Dorothy Toran, a production executive on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, are also identified in the suit.

A spokesperson for Bravo said, “there is no merit to this lawsuit.”
