A former principal in Queens who sexted on the job and had pictures of herself participating in sexual acts on the laptop belonging to the Department of Education has been suspended for one year without pay.

Hearing officer Barry Peek would not terminate 39-year-old Annie Seifullah, who claimed that school PTA president Robert Sofia, her boyfriend at the time, planted the “revenge porn” after they broke up. Sofia rejected these claims, asserting she exploited her power position to seduce him and others.

The hearing also showed texts from Seifullah to an assistant principal in the Bronx suggesting they had oral sex when he went to see her at the school, and would do it again.

According to the New York Post, She sent many other sexual texts to a high-ranking DOE official.

Seifullah was removed from Robert Wagner Secondary School of Arts and Technology in 2014 after Sofia handed in a city-issued laptop to detectives and reported she was sexting other employees of the DOE on city time.

She was downgraded to a teacher after an investigator discovered the X-rated pictures and sexts. Seifullah refused the accusations that she had sex at the school, and has not been charged with it.

However, Peek faulted Seifullah for not testifying in her defense.

“I have no way of determining whether she is remorseful or appreciates the seriousness of what transpired,” he said.
