Dismembered body of woman left in baby carriage in Mexican border state of Nuevo Leon

Curiosity shifted into screams for help after local residents in the Mexican border state of Neuvo Leon discovered that an abandoned baby stroller containing the dismembered body of a woman.

A duffel bag left behind on top of the carriage in the town’s plaza motivated some to check what was inside.

The gruesome discovery led to the mobilization of detectives with the Nuevo Leon Attorney General’s Office who raced to the rural area of Salinas Victoria.

According to Breitbart Texas, the town is one area where the Los Zetas have control over the local drug distribution and extortions of local businesses.

Police said the dismemberment of the body could have been done with a machete.

Neighbors told officials that hours before the horrific finding that they heard screaming coming from a house near the plaza.

Residents told authorities that the remains were that of the woman who looked to be between 30 and 40 years of age.

Authorities discovered a cartel message on the body.
