A rookie police officer on his first week on duty arrested a counterfeit handbag dealer driving a van full of bootleg handbags and other designer goods to a flea market in New Jersey was apprehended by

According to the New York Post, 49-year-ls Bubacarr Drammeh, from the Bronx, New York was traveling with hundreds of bags, shoes, and belts with fraudulent labels from designer brands Gucci, Tory Burch, Louboutin, and Burberry at roughly 9 p.m.when he got into a car accident on the George Washington Bridge.

Port Authority Officer Christopher Roncancio–who graduated from Police Academy on December 22nd — was dispatched to respond to the collision, but his attention shifted to Drammeh’s cargo.

The suspect was taken into custody and charged with counterfeit of trademark goods.

Authorities seized the bootleg items.
