The remains of a 19-year-old woman that were recovered in the woods in Colorado last week has been identified as a missing teenager who was recently awarded a restraining order against a stalker.

Authorities verified that the body discovered on the property of McIntosh Dairy was that of Natalie Bollinger, who was the subject of a missing person case.

The cause and manner of her death are still being investigated, but the case is being examined as a homicide.

Broomfield authorities told CBS News that they spoke with a man whom Bollinger had received a permanent restraining order against in December, but no arrests have been made.

Two weeks ago, Bollinger claimed on Facebook that she once tried to help the man, but then he started to harass her, CBS Denver reported.

She maintained that he “slept behind her work for weeks” and threatened to commit suicide in front of her.

Bollinger said she wrote the post because the man was “posting slander” about her and sending harassing messages to her friends and family.
