South Carolina Police seize Uzi, firearms, drugs, and cash in bust

Authorities in Horry County, South Carolina seized a significant amount of firearms, drugs, and cash and arrested five people after the Narcotics & Vice Unit carried out a search warrant in Myrtle Beach.

According to the Sun News, Horry County Police arrested Billy L. Freshley, 31, Aaron J. Hardee, 24, Mikkel R. Rush, 27, Jannie N. Gregory, 23, and Ganika T. McCollum, 26,in connection with the seized items.

All five suspects are facing charges that include drug manufacturing and trafficking, sale or delivery of a pistol, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The firearms items that were confiscated included 45 .45-caliber rifles, two 7.62-caliber assault rifles, two .22-caliber pistols and a 9-mm Uzi. Additionally, two of the firearms seized were reported stolen.

Investigators also recovered 7 pounds of marijuana, 47 grams of crack cocaine, 49 grams of heroin; and $7,465 in cash.
