Florida woman accused of dismemberment killing of ex-boyfriend eyed in similar cold case

Florida Authorities say a woman arrested for killing and dismembering her ex-boyfriend may be tied to a similar decade-old cold case murder.

According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, 67-year-old Nelci Tetley is a person of interest in the 2007 case of Michael Scot Louis.

Scott’s dismembered body was found in garbage bags along the Tomoka River.

Daytona Beach police arrested Tetley Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the gruesome death of 55-year-old Jeffrey Albertsman.

Officers found the decapitated remains of Albertsman back in July. The victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities found the victim’s arms and legs around 10 miles from where Louis’ body was discovered 10-years earlier.

Tetley remains in custody and it’s unclear whether she has retained legal counsel.
