Toi-Lin Kelly, the fiancee of rap impresario Marion “Suge” Knight was handed a three-year prison sentence Friday for violating terms of her probation from a previous murder case tied to the founder of Death Row records.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Douglas Sortino ruled Friday that the 37-year-old woman had violated probation by selling sealed video evidence in the case against “Suge” Knight, in which he stands accused in the 2015 slaying of Terry Carter, the L.A. Times reported.

Kelly pleaded no-contest in the case in October 2017.

As a result, the judge placed Kelly on 5-years probation, required her to perform 100 hours of community service, and ordered her not to have any contact with “Suge” Knight.

However, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office accused Toi-Lin Kelly of violating probation by helping Suge Knight circumvent orders restricting his use of jailhouse phones and maintaining indirect communication with her fiancee.

Prosecutors indicted Toi-Lin Kelly and Knight’s business partner, 57-year-old Mark Blankenship, last July on the three felony counts for selling video footage of the fatal hit-and-run death of Terry Carter.

Knight faces murder and attempted murder charges for allegedly mowing-down two men with a pick-up truck in the parking lot of Tam’s burgers in Compton, California resulting in the death of Carter and seriously injuring Cle “Bone” Sloan in January 2015.
